Spending Mother Daughter or Father Daughter Time Together

The time spent with your daughter now, will create more and more meaningful relationships in the future; with you, and others in her life.

Maybe she wants to date someone, or is already dating someone. How do you guide her to make decisions on whether this is a good relationship to be in? What questions should she be asking herself when it comes to the future of this relationship she is in? Check out this awesome resource for couples. Click Here! I am glad I asked these questions of Bob, before we had much of a commitment.

Time goes so fast.

Don't you remember the day, the moment you found out you were pregnant? You were going to have a baby!?! Doesn't it feel like yesterday...

Time is still going fast.

There is a great quote from a song,... "We grow up so slowly, and grow old so fast" - (What About Now, by Robbie Robertson).

Yes. Sometimes dealing with our kids, as toddlers or teens, can seem never ending and very tiresome. But, they 'grow old so fast'.

Spend the time now. She is worth it.

Just read the words of this popular song. (Your girl probably already knows all the words.)

Daughters - By John Mayer;

I know a girl

She puts the color inside of my world.

She's just like a maze,

where all of the walls all continually change.

And I've done all I can

To stand on her steps with my heart in my hands.

Now I'm starting to see,

Maybe it's got nothing to do with me

Fathers be good to your daughters

Daughters will love like you do.

Girls become lovers who turn into mothers,

So mothers be good to your daughters too.

Oh, you see that skin?

It's the same she's been standing in,

Since the day she saw him walking away.

Now she's left, cleaning up the mess he made.

Repeat chorus

Boys, you can break,

You'll find out how much they can take.

Boys will be strong,

And boys soldier on,

But boys would be gone without warmth from

A woman's good, good heart.

On behalf of every man,

Looking out for every girl,

You are the god and the weight of her world

So Fathers be good to your daughters,

Daughters will love like you do

Girls become lovers who turn into mothers

So Mothers be good to your daughters, too (Repeat two more times.)

Wow,...enough said. (Thanks John.)

Pick A Movie From This List, Or Let Her Pick One!

It's a great time to talk about her issues and have fun. Lots of movies have content that you can't help but discuss together.

Let your her know what is in your heart, and mind, concerning important issues. Many serious topics are in movies these days.

Here are great movies that she will love, while still young, and at home. You don't need to pay for the 'new' releases to have family fun. Hey, you can even buy these now super cheap and watch them over and over. Buying on sale is good family advice for kids, and your family dollar.

Let her get dressed up and take her out, or stay home, in 'Jammies' and soft blankets.

As her parent, you need to make her feel special.

You "date" her first, before someone else catches her eye.

She will never forget it, and her standards for her future relationships will be super high. She won't settle for anything less, once she knows what she is worth.
