Romero - The Best Family Pet!

I worked at a vet clinic and this sweet puppy needed a home because the breeder could not sell him due to him being born with hip dysplasia.

My husband was against getting a dog but I convinced him to let me bring Romero home "just for the weekend". My husband fell in love with him (which I knew he would).

With lots of love and exercise Romero's hips popped back in place and he is a great companion.

As a young pup Romero used to throw tantrums when he did not get his way. He would get on his back and thrash around snapping at the air. This is a photo of one of those tantrums (or as we call it 'land-sharking')

For the record, I did not tolerate that behaviour and he no longer does it but it was hilarious.....inappropriate...but hilarious.
